Book reviews

Slices of Singapore
It is worth reading. The author gives his views on the way our country is run and its emphases. He does start off with a nostalgic description of the good old days and then proceeds to speak about the government and society. It is quite a harsh satire, Juvenalian in language but he does attempt to temper his tone such that it seems Horatian in tone. I enjoy particularly the chapter on talent, as it is so relevant to my own life and similar to my thoughts. Well-done!! :)
